The DiverseWorks Decolonial Praxis is the theoretical and methodological framework that grounds all of our work. It draws on Ubuntu philosophy, the Anitafrika Method (d’bi.young anitafrika), arts-based research, and the embodied hxtories of Afrodiasporic communities. It holds that the body is an archive, that musicking is a communal act, and that witnessing is a form of participation. Circltography — Raechele’s original creative methodology for collective movement-making, community inquiry, and Afrodiasporic storytelling — lives within this praxis. It is not a technique to be replicated but a living practice to be entered.
